As a Member of Technical Staff 3 - UX Design Engineer, you will tackle complex design challenges across enterprise-level products, working closely with product managers, engineering, and other stakeholders. The role demands creating simple and elegant design solutions for problems of medium complexity, producing high-quality UX designs rooted in first principles and data, and ensuring designs are effectively executed with development teams.

This dynamic design team spans India, the US, and Berlin, promoting collaboration and innovation. You will report to the Technical Director of Design who provides mentorship and guidance.

Key aspects of the role involve ownership of product features, research planning and presentation, stakeholder communication, and fostering teamwork to deliver product enhancements.

Key technical skills:

UX design, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, design tools (Figma, Sketch), UX research (qualitative, quantitative), visual design, design systems, UI engineering, accessibility, AI design tools (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3).

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing consumer-grade UX designs for complex domains.
• Proficiency with Figma and/or Sketch.
• Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction/UX design or engineering with a Master’s in design.
• Minimum 3 years of UX design experience for web applications.
• Preferred: UX research, design sprints/workshops, visual design/systems, prototyping/UI engineering, B2C product experience, accessibility knowledge, AI tools for design.
